O Giver of All Life,

Help Me To See All Things in the Purity 

In Which All Is Created.

Help Me To Maintain My Divinity 

Through Obedience To the Holy Spirit from Within.

Mother is a Divine Gift to man. She is an embodiment of affection. Mothers are joy of every home. A Mother's debt is truly un-repayable.

Just look at existence and its abundance.

What is the need of so many flowers 

in the world? Just roses would have been enough.

But existence is abundant - millions and millions of flowers,

millions of birds, millions of animals - everything in abundance. Nature is not ascetic, it is dancing everywhere -

in the ocean, in the trees. It is singing everywhere -

in the wind passing through the pine trees,

in the birds.What is the need  of millions of solar systems, of each solar system having millions of stars? There seems to be no need, except that abundance is the very nature of existence; that richness is the very core.

Do not think that enlightenment is going to make you special, it’s not. If you feel special in any way, then enlightenment has not occurred. I meet a lot of people who think they are enlightened and awake simply because they have had a very moving spiritual experience. They wear their enlightenment on their sleeve like a badge of honor. They sit among friends and talk about how awake 

they are while sipping coffee at a cafe. The funny thing about enlightenment is that when it is authentic, there is no one to claim it. Enlightenment is very ordinary; it is nothing special. Rather than making you more special, it is going to make you less special. It plants you right in the center of a wonderful humility and innocence. Everyone else may or may not call you enlightened, but when you are enlightened the whole notion of enlightenment and someone who is enlightened is a big joke. I use the word enlightenment all the time; not to point you toward it but to point you beyond it. Do not get stuck in enlightenment.

When awareness is very very deep-rooted, when you are present to the present, you attain to a psychedelic vision of life. That's why mystics talk of so much beauty, and you don't find it. Mystics talk of immense celebration going on, and you don't see any celebration anywhere. Mystics talk of great music, but you don't hear any music. And the mystics are right -- a great music is passing by, but you are deaf. Great beauty is all around, but you are blind. The whole existence is celebrating this very moment, as much as it was celebrating when Atisha was alive. Existence is celebration. ♥

What is the importance of the company we keep, in relation to our journey to the Divine? 

Iron turns into rust if it seeks the company of soil. It glows, softens and takes on useful shapes, if it enjoys the company of fire. Dust can fly if it chooses the wind as its friend; however if it prefers water, it has to end as slime in a pit. It has neither wing nor foot, yet it can either fly or walk, rise or fall, according to the friend it selects. Knowing this truth, the great saint, Kabir once said: "Here are my prostrations to the good, here are my prostrations to the bad." When asked why he offered salutations to the bad, he replied, "My prostrations to the bad, so that they may leave me alone. I do the same before good, so that they might remain near me always. You are shaped by the company you keep. Love All, Serve All. Help Ever, Hurt Never. The grace of God is like insurance. It will help you in your time of need without any limit.

The Bauls belong to the seventh type -- joy, celebration, song, dance, ecstasy -- ANAND. They make meditation tremendously joyful -- because a person can be meditative and can become sad. A person can be meditative and can become very silent and may miss bliss. Because meditation can make you silent, absolutely still, but unless dance happens in it, something is missing. Peace is good, peace is very beautiful, but something is lacking in it; bliss is lacking. When peace starts dancing it is bliss. When peace becomes active, overflowing, it is bliss. When bliss is enclosed in a seed it is peace. And when the seed has sprouted, not only that, but the tree has bloomed and the flowers have come and the seed has become a bloom, then it is SAMADHI. That is the highest type of religion.

Allow that all mankind is equal, in that you are each entitled to loving and being loved. Each person is an individual and in that way they are equal. Of course, you are all in different stages of development - but in each one of those states of development, not one person is superior or inferior. Each stage is merely a level or realization or discovery that needs to be made. Honor that and see the divinity in that. See the joy of that. Love the differences in that. Learn from that. Know that each man is your master teacher and that you are the master teacher of every other man, woman and child.

You are the student of life and the teacher simultaneously. So is each individual that you meet. Know that when you look into each face, you see the face of God standing before you. That individual is teaching you about yourself, revealing the truth of who you are. That is how, day by day, you can live your life as a soul and unfold your soul's essence to honor the truth of self as sacred and dear.

Stand by your individual truth and ability to love. Stand alone in that truth, no matter what another one says, no matter how another judges you. Seek not another's permission. Seek not another's validation for your actions. Honor every action that you make. Honor your truth and honor the truth and self of others. 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.' The Golden Rule is a good rule to follow. It allows you to take responsibility for your actions. If you make a choice and take an action, think about it and if you realize that you would not want to experience the results of your own action, then do not do it. Do nothing that harms another and do nothing that harms you. Accept everything as it is, but accept nothing as truth unless it resonates with you."

When I use the word “holy” I use it in the 

sense of wholeness, in the sense of being total. 

To be whole is to be holy. And whenever you 

are whole the ego disappears. It can exist only 

when you are fragmentary, when you are divided, 

split. The more you are divided, the better for 

the ego. It rules you by dividing you. 

Once you are one, integrated, crystallised, 

the ego evaporates just like dewdrops in the early morning sun.

Living a holy life means living each moment 

totally, without holding anything back. If you 

are dancing then become the dance, and that 

is the moment of holiness. 

If you are singing, become the song. If you 

are loving, become love. Whatsoever you are 

doing, do it with such joy, with such totality, 

with such involvement, commitment that you 

are no more separate from it. And soon you 

will see that this continuous experience of 

being totally involved integrates all your 

fragments into oneness. It moulds you into 

an individual, into something indivisible. 

That is being holy.
